Defrost the cod in the fridge for 12 to 24 hours or in cold water, keeping it in its packaging. Avoid defrosting at room temperature to preserve texture and food safety.
No, our frozen cod is already soaked, ready for immediate use. It can be defrosted and used straight away, adjusting the salt only if necessary.
Thick fillets (loins) – Recommended for grilling or roasting, as they withstand intense heat well and retain their juiciness inside.
