Traditional Portuguese sausages are a true expression of our country’s gastronomy. Among the most popular are morcela, chorizo, alheira, farinheira and negrito. They are made with carefully selected pork, traditional spices and curing and smoking methods that preserve the authentic flavour. They feature on Portuguese tables at parties, family meals, as snacks and in traditional dishes such as cozido à portuguesa, feijoada or sausage soups.
